Lester Calahan

Director, National Capitol Region
Lester (Less) Calahan is Spectrum's main focal point for the National Capitol Region and liaison to the corporate Business Units. He has over 30 years of experience in program management, acquisition, logistics, requirements and technical support and is responsible for the current interface to all Defense Intelligence Information Enterprise stakeholders in Washington D.C., Northern Virginia, and Maryland with a strong focus on emerging growth areas for Spectrum.

Mr. Calahan joined Spectrum in 2009 following over 30 years of distinguished USAF service as an active duty Air Force airman. During his career working for the Air Force, he gained a plethora of experience in plans & program, requirements, C4ISR program management, life cycle management, acquisition, Defense Cooperative Armaments/Foreign Military Sales (DCA\FMS) and was a Joint Officer assigned to the U.S. Embassy, Republic of Korea. For the last 11 years he served in various leadership positions in the C4ISR community specializing in acquisition and logistics support to intelligence systems, such as the U-2, DCGS, Global Hawk, Predator\Reaper, International Intelligence programs and other intelligence collection systems. His last assignment was as the Commander, 560th Aircraft Sustainment Group and System Program Manager (SPM) for U-2 and System Sustainment Manager (SSM) for Distributive Common Ground System (DCGS), JOINT STARS, Global Hawk and Predator where he was responsible for all field support and sustainment.
