Steve F. LaFata

Senior Vice President of Business Relations
Steve LaFata is a Senior Vice President serving as Spectrum's Ambassador and is responsible for developing and sustaining Spectrum's relationships with current and future customers, business partners, and local federal and civilian communities where Spectrum develops and conducts business. Mr. LaFata previously served as Spectrum's Vice President of Operations, Director of the C4ISR division and CAAS III Program Manager.

Mr. LaFata joined Spectrum in 2005, following 41 years of government service 21 years as an active duty Marine and 20 years as an Air Force Senior Civil Servant. His last assignment was at the 480th Intelligence Wing (ACC), where he served as Technical Director concentrating on growing the Wing's resources to support the massive growth in wartime C2ISR and Targeting missions posturing technical assets, manpower, and infrastructure for the future.

Mr. LaFata is the recipient of the Air Force Civilian Meritorious Service Award, Civilian Exemplary Service Award, Civilian Outstanding Service Award, and Senior-Level Intelligence Civilian of the Year Award.

He currently serves on numerous boards and committees supporting Federal and Civilian community growth and strategic planning
