Steve F. LaFata

Vice President, Director of Business Relations, and C4ISR Division Manager
Steve LaFata is responsible for developing and sustaining Spectrum’s relationships with current and future customers, business partners and local DoD and civilian communities where Spectrum develops and conducts business. He also serves as the Division Manager for Spectrum’s C4ISR Business Area supporting DoD. Concentration focuses in the Space, Airborne and Ground platforms, sensors, mission operations, command, control, computers and communications planning, implementation, integration, sustainment and life-cycle support.

Mr. LaFata joined SCI in 2005, following 41 years of government service as an active duty Marine and Air Force Civil Servant. His last assignment was at the 480th Intelligence Wing (ACC), as Technical Director.

Mr. LaFata is the recipient of the Air Force Civilian Meritorious Service Award, Civilian Exemplary Service Award, Civilian Outstanding Service Award, and Senior-Level Intelligence Civilian of the Year Award.

He currently serves on the Board of Advisors for the Government Emerging Technology Alliance shaping program content for community-wide Annual Government ISR Transformation Symposiums.
