Newport News, VA – On July 29, 2011 Spectrum, a veteran-owned business headquartered in Newport News, VA, was notified that it had been awarded the Joint Tactical Radio System (JTRS) Lead Command Support multi-year, multi-million dollar contract. With this award, Spectrum will be providing the Air Force Command and Control Integration Center (AFC2IC) Enterprise Requirements Division, JTRS Branch, expertise to represent Air Force requirements in the development, design, and implementation of approved plans for the JTRS program.
