On June 1, 2010 Spectrum, a veteran-owned small business that serves the Department of Defense and other federal agencies, announced the appointment of Ralph Wade as Chief Strategy Officer and Vice President National Capital Region, effective June 1, 2010.

In this new role, Mr. Wade brings proven operational experience, comprehensiveindustry knowledge and extensive strategic planning and business development expertise to Spectrum. Mr. Wade will lead Spectrum’s strategic initiatives to advance its core Intelligence,  Surveillance and Reconnaissance and Information Assurance capabilities to provide innovative solutions to current customers and propel Spectrum into new markets.

Mr. Wade comes to Spectrum with over 13 years of defense and aerospace industry experience in managing large scale business areas, strategic planning, business development and corporate leadership which he gained in previous positions at BAE Systems and General Dynamics. Prior to that, Mr. Wade served 22 years in the Air Force where he served in various assignments in the systems acquisition and the intelligence community. He is a proven visionary leader and now, a welcomed member of the Spectrum team.
