On April 23rd Spectrum participated in the 2009 Virginia Peninsula Chamber of Commerce (VPCC) Military Job Fair of Virginia at the Hampton Roads Convention Center. In this time of economic uncertainty, it was very important for Spectrum to be a part of this biannual event. This year brought over 650 qualified job seekers looking for opportunities in the community. Jobs were offered in numerous fields including government, IT, sales, retail, education, and so much more. This year, in particular, seemed to attract several experienced applicants that fit well with Spectrum’s needs.
Spectrum has been a part of this job fair for five years and always looks forward to its overwhelming success. Having been an avid sponsor in numerous VPCC activities over the years, Spectrum is committed to the VPCC and all it works to achieve. Spectrum would like to thank all employees for taking time out of their busy day to come out and meet prospective applicants. As always Spectrum was well-represented and looks forward to the next job fair in the fall.
