May 17, 2018 – Newport News, VA – Spectrum Comm, Inc. was recently awarded a new subcontract by American Systems Corporation, under their advisory and assistance services (A&AS) prime contract supporting the U.S. Air Force Operational Test and Evaluation Center (AFOTEC), as well as several follow-on contracts. The value of these contracts total $6.6 Million.  Spectrum is privileged to have a team of dedicated experts who have supported this customer for years. March 29, 2018 – Newport News, VA – CEO Jeff Wassmer incorporated Spectrum on March 27, 1999 in Hampton, VA.  The company first operated in Warner Robins, GA and relocated to Hampton, VA upon a significant contract award.  In 2009, due to exponential growth, the company outgrew its headquarters location and moved to Newport News, VA.  Today, we have employees across the country in various locations. Spectrum to Prime Enterprise Contract Logistics Support Contract

January 11, 2018 – Newport News, VA – Spectrum Comm, Inc., along with our teammates The Ginn Group, Inc. and GDIT, has been awarded the Enterprise Contract Logistics Support (ECLS) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract.  This contract provides the capabilities for task-oriented Enterprise Contract Logistics Support necessary for the weapon systems sustained by the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), C2ISR Division (HBG), Logistics Section (HBGML) at Robins Air Force Base (RAFB), Georgia. The C2ISR Division is implementing an enterprise approach to total lifecycle logistics support and specialized global Supply Chain Management (SCM) for supported C2ISR weapon systems. This is a single award IDIQ contract with a $42,520,000 ceiling value. (more…)

Spectrum to Prime Operational Test and Evaluation Services Contract

April 4, 2017 – Newport News, VA – Spectrum Comm, Inc. was awarded a new Task Order under the AFOTEC Operational Test and Evaluation Services (OTES) IDIQ contract for the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) along with teammate Summit Technical Solutions, LLC (STS). The team will provide technical services to AFOTEC, Detachment 4 through analytical and subject matter expertise focused on test planning, test execution and data analysis of the GBSD program. Spectrum Employees Donate to Toys for Tots

February 17, 2017 – Newport News, VA – Spectrum’s Hurlburt Field, FL employees, along with business partners Credence and The Rockhill Group Inc., recently lead an effort to collect toys for Toys for Tots.  They successfully collected five boxes of gifts and $787.00 cash in donations making this the largest donation made to Toys for Tots for Okaloosa County, Florida over the 2016 holiday season. February 16, 2017 – Newport News, VA – Spectrum Comm, Inc., along with our teammates, has been awarded up to a $6 Billion Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract supporting the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) J6 Enterprise Technology Services (JETS). Spectrum’s core team includes ADDX Corporation, FEDITC LLC, MirLogic, SI2, and The Moore Group. Contractors on the JETS contract will provide the full range of IT services, technical and management expertise that support applications, software, hardware, infrastructure, and systems, across the DLA IT Enterprise. The JETS contract will also allow for de-centralized ordering by other DoD agencies. (more…)

Spectrum Donates to Local Organizations

July 6, 2016 – Newport News, VA – Spectrum recently joined with Priority Staffing, Two Men and A Truck, and other local businesses to collect items needed for its “Movers for Moms®” program.  This program provides care packages to mothers who have to stay at CHKD overnight with their child.  Many times this happens unexpectedly and they find themselves without toiletries or other important items.  These care packages can make their stay a little more comfortable.  The items collected were new, mostly travel sized toiletries as well as books and magazines.
