Four Spectrum Employees Participate in the Chesapeake Bay Wine Classic Foundation’s 7th Annual Wine
On Aug 16th the 7th Annual Wine, Women and Fishing Event was held in VA Beach waters. The event is a women only charity billfish tournament benefitting the Eastern Virginia Medical School’s Breast Cancer Research Foundation. This year’s event brought in $30,000 to the Foundation which has raised over $100,000 in the past 6 years. Spectrum donated $1,000 to help sponsor a team for the exciting event which hosted more than 150 women on 29 boats. One employee donated the use of his boat “Wild at Heart” to Captain the ladies on their adventure. (more…)

Newport News, VA — Inc. magazine recently announced Spectrum ranked No. 944 on its third annual Inc. 5000 list, an exclusive ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. The list represents the most comprehensive look at the most important segment of the economy America’s independent-minded entrepreneurs. Spectrum Supports the Black & Silver Brigade in Warner Robins, GA
Spectrum recently donated money to support the Black and Silver Brigade Marching Band in Warner Robins, GA. Warner Robins is home to Spectrum’s second office location and to over 75 of its 257 employees. The families in Warner Robins are fortunate enough to still have Fine Arts programs in their schools and it is very important to Spectrum to keep these programs alive. (more…)

Spectrum Announces Office Relocation
Spectrum, a government contractor in Hampton Roads, has outgrown its Downtown Hampton facility and will be moving to Compass Pointe in Newport News to better accommodate the needs of the company. Spectrum Attends Breakfast with Local Legislators
Spectrum recently served as a table sponsor for the April 2009 Breakfast with local Legislators, hosted by the Virginia Peninsula Chamber of Commerce. Several Spectrum employees attended the event and hosted Delegate Glenn Oder from the 94th District. On May 7, 2009 the Hampton Roads Technology Council (HRTC) held its annual TechNite for 2009. Spectrum Sponsors a Table at the 2009 AFCEA Joint Warfighting Conference Luncheon
On 12 May 09, representatives of Spectrum attended the Joint Warfighting 09 Conference luncheon held at the Virginia Beach Convention Center. This conference is an annual event sponsored by the Armed Forces Communications and Electronic Association (AFCEA) and the U.S. Naval Institute, in coordination with U.S. Joint Forces Command. Spectrum proudly sponsored a table at the luncheon and several Spectrum employees attended the event.
