Spectrum Awarded Naval Medical Center Work

June 5, 2014 – Newport News, VA – The U.S. Navy has awarded Spectrum Comm, Inc. a $10,181,735 contract to provide medical support services at Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth, Virginia. Spectrum is teamed with Loui Consulting Group, Inc from Warner Robins, GA.  Together they will fill more than 50 positions at the hospital to perform reception, record keeping and clerical duties related to patient treatment in a variety of clinics and departments that are responsible for providing care to both active duty and retired service members and their families. This marks Spectrum’s third Seaport-E task order win this year. (more…)

Spectrum Receives Bronze Certification in Virginia Values Veterans Program

March 31, 2014 – Newport News, VA – Spectrum was presented the Bronze level certification in the Virginia Values Veterans Program by the Virginia Department of Veterans Services.  The company received this certification for pledging to continue veteran hiring and retention initiatives.  In 2013, fifty-seven percent of Spectrum’s new employees hired in Virginia self-identified as veterans, and the company expects to meet or exceed these numbers in 2014. Spectrum Wins New Logistics Life Cycle Sustainment Contract

September 26, 2013 – Newport News, VA  The Air Force awarded Spectrum as the Prime on a $6M, three (3) year contract to provide Technical and Logistics support to the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) Cryptologic Systems Division (CPSD), Intel and Force Protection Products Branch located at Lackland AFB, TX. Spectrum will support the Air Force and NSA in several program areas to include Consolidated Signals Intelligence Support Activity and Force Protection. Spectrum/S4 Inc. Awarded PASS II Contract

September 30, 2013 – Newport News, VA  Spectrum, through the company’s joint venture with S4 Inc, was awarded the Professional Acquisition Support Services II (PASS II) Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract on September 26.  This effort, with a ceiling value of $675,117,000, provides program and financial management, acquisition logistics, and administrative support to the Air Force Lifecycle Management Center (AFLCMC) programs in Bedford MA, San Antonio TX, and Montgomery AL.  Spectrum will provide support to many of the battle management, communication, cryptologic, and business system programs the company possesses expertise in.  Spectrum expects to begin competing for task orders on PASS II in November of this year.
