Spectrum Awarded a Subcontract on S4’s Technical Advisor Support Services (TA2S) Winning Team

Newport News, VA- On May 1, 2012 Spectrum, part of the S4 TA2S Team was notified that S4 Inc. was awarded a contract to provide Technical & Advisory Support Services to Headquarters, NORAD-USNOTHERN COMMAND (HQ-N-NC) at Peterson AFB, Colorado.  The contract ceiling is $262 Million.  This contract allows Spectrum to support S4 Inc. in providing a variety of Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) and Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) services.  Areas of support on this contract include: Management, Operational and Professional Services; Studies, Analysis, and Evaluation; and Engineering and Technical Services. Spectrum is a Key Sponsor of the Wounded Warriors at Run for the Dream

Newport News, VA – May 20, 2012 Spectrum was a key sponsor for the second annual Run for the Dream organized by An Achievable Dream Academy and Dave McGillivray Sports Enterprises (DMSE).  Spectrum’s sponsorship focused on the Wounded Warrior organizations benefitted by this event, hosting our Wounded Warrior guests for the race weekend’s festivities.

Spectrum Wins a New Task Order to Support the A-10

Newport News, VA – May 2, 2012 Spectrum, a veteran-owned business headquartered in Newport News, VA, was notified that it has been awarded an additional task order to support the A-10 Operation Flight Program at Hill AFB, Utah.  In cooperation with our prime, BBH Consulting, Spectrum will assist with the development of management plans and strategies, milestone planning and tracking, preparation of technical briefing materials in both hard and soft copy format, evaluations of program schedules, and deliverable tracking to include the planning and/or reviewing of program data deliverables as applicable to aircraft OFP development and sustainment. Spectrum Foundation Hosts Masquerade Gala

Newport News, VA   The Spectrum Foundation held its first Masquerade Gala on February 25 to benefit ‘Wounded Warriors’.  The Williamsburg Winery and a great many local businesses sponsored the Spectrum Foundation objective of helping Veterans and their families. Surviving military soldiers Andrew Smith and Whitney Spurgeon, along with their wives were honored guests. Both Veterans deployed numerous times and returned with multiple wounds. Mrs. Kristy Spurgeon spoke on her husband’s long, intense road of a dozen surgeries to recovery and the impact recoveries have on military families.  Andrew spoke on his involvement with Operation First Response. All are committed to continued on-going support to returning Warriors and ensuring they receive timely and proper care as well as any necessary financial support.

Spectrum Selected as Prime on ACCESS & CAAS IV Contracts
