Spectrum Wins a New Task Order to Support the A-10
Newport News, VA – May 2, 2012 Spectrum, a veteran-owned business headquartered in Newport News, VA, was notified that it has been awarded an additional task order to support the A-10 Operation Flight Program at Hill AFB, Utah. In cooperation with our prime, BBH Consulting, Spectrum will assist with the development of management plans and strategies, milestone planning and tracking, preparation of technical briefing materials in both hard and soft copy format, evaluations of program schedules, and deliverable tracking to include the planning and/or reviewing of program data deliverables as applicable to aircraft OFP development and sustainment. Spectrum Foundation Hosts Masquerade Gala
Newport News, VA The Spectrum Foundation held its first Masquerade Gala on February 25 to benefit ‘Wounded Warriors’. The Williamsburg Winery and a great many local businesses sponsored the Spectrum Foundation objective of helping Veterans and their families. Surviving military soldiers Andrew Smith and Whitney Spurgeon, along with their wives were honored guests. Both Veterans deployed numerous times and returned with multiple wounds. Mrs. Kristy Spurgeon spoke on her husband’s long, intense road of a dozen surgeries to recovery and the impact recoveries have on military families. Andrew spoke on his involvement with Operation First Response. All are committed to continued on-going support to returning Warriors and ensuring they receive timely and proper care as well as any necessary financial support.
Spectrum Expands Corporate Office in Warner Robins, GA

Spectrum Selected as #10 Best Large Employer Place to Work in Virginia
Newport News, VA – February 10, 2012. Virginia Business released their official rankings for the 2012 Best Places to Work in Virginia in their February issue. Spectrum was selected as number 10 in the large employer category. Spectrum Selected as Prime on ACCESS & CAAS IV Contracts
Newport News, VA – On November 28, 2011 Spectrum was notified as a prime on the Acquisition Consolidated Enterprise Support Services (ACCESS) Contract (official award date of December 6). One day later, Spectrum received notification the company was also awarded as a large business prime on the Contracted Advisory and Assistance Services (CAAS) IV contract. (more…)

Spectrum, a veteran-owned business headquartered in Newport News, VA was notified that it has been awarded as a subcontractor to Prime, BBH Consultants to support the A-10 System Program Office at Hill AFB, UT. The contract leverages Spectrum’s core capabilities and performance to deliver highly technical Advisory and Assistance Services that include: Program management; Logistics; Technical; and Administrative support and is expected to total $2M throughout the Period of Performance for the USAF.
